HOW DO I BOOK A ROOM?

The Bellwether is an invisible service and self check-in hotel and as such there is not a front desk and the hotel is not staffed 24 hours a day. When booking please confirm your email address is correct as this is how our automated communications, including check-in information, are sent. Check-in instructions and individualized key codes are sent via email 24 hours prior to check-in date. Please check your email spam and junk folders if you cannot locate the check-in information. If you have booked via a third party website or booking provider, please check the email associated with that account.

what is your cancellation policy?

We offer three standard cancellation policies.

Fully-Flexible: Cancel or change your reservation up to 2 days before arrival and receive a full refund of the total booking amount. Cancellations made within 2 days of arrival are subject to a charge of 100% of the room amount. Additional products or add-ons will be fully refunded.

Semi-Flexible: Cancel or change your reservation up to 5 days before arrival and receive a full refund of the total booking amount. Cancellations made within 5 days of arrival are subject to a charge of 100% of the room amount. Additional products or add-ons will be fully refunded.

Non-Refundable Rate: All bookings are Non-Refundable.

During select periods, we may offer additional cancellation policies. You can always find the cancellation policy listed in the description of the rate plan on the booking page.

Can I bring my pet?

The Bellwether Hotel allows dogs only with the following restriction: Dogs are only allowed in first floor rooms. The first floor rooms are: 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108. We allow up to two dogs to stay as long as their combined weight is not over 50 pounds, or one dog not over 50 pounds. A $50 pet fee will be required at time of booking. Please notify us at time of booking if a dog will be staying. We provide some dog supplies prior to check-in. Supplies provided are subject to availability. Dogs are not allowed in the lounge area of the second floor, service dogs exempt from this rule. If you are bringing a Service Dog please notify us at the time of booking. Emotional support animals are not allowed. Dogs not allowed on furniture in the room. Pets must not be left unattended in room, or anywhere else on hotel property unless crated. Owners are financially responsible for any damage deemed by staff to have been caused by a pet. Dogs must be picked up after inside and outside of hotel by guests. Guests will be charged an additional cleaning fee for any extra cleaning incurred by guest not picking up after pet. Ample green space located in neighborhood for walking and pet relief. Guests will be charged a $200 cleaning fee if evidence of any type of pet is found in a second floor room or Highland Station. Emotional Support animals are not allowed. Certified Service Dogs are allowed. Your service dog must be under your control at all times, whether this is by the means of a leash, hand gestures or voice control, your dog cannot become unruly. Service dogs are not allowed to be left unattended in guest rooms, or any other hotel space. In addition, if your service dog were to damage anything in the hotel room, you are still liable for the cost of those damages. Service Dogs must be picked up after inside and outside at hotel property.

IS THERE AN ELEVATOR IN THE BUILDING?

The hotel does not contain an elevator. Please note that when booking a room on the second floor there are two flights of stairs. The hotel lounge is also located on the second floor. First floor rooms that do not require stairs to access are 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108. Second floor rooms that do require stairs to access are 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210, Highland Station.

Quiet Hours & Lobby/Courtyard Rules:

Hotel property is private and reserved exclusively for current registered guests only. No other persons/groups allowed admittance. Hotel lounge is reserved for current registered guests only and no parties, groups, gatherings will be tolerated at anytime. Hotel lounge and hotel property enforce quiet hours between 10pm to 7am daily. Property is monitored 24 hours a day and violators of hotel rules and policies are subject to immediate eviction.

Does The BELLWETHER have a bar or restaurant?

Yes, Nostalgic Restaurant and Cocktail House is located on the first floor of The Bellwether. The restaurant is owned and operated by Catherine McDowell. Please visit Eat Nostalgic for all restaurant information.
