Our Story
With a history dating back to 1907, the building that now is home to The Bellwether has maintained its integrity as a historic location but is redesigned for the modern traveler. The Bellwether’s unique style harkens back to its golden era of the 1920’s, while bringing its ornate art-deco design and amenities to the 2020’s. Featuring vaulted ceilings, private entertainment and gathering areas, an in-house restaurant & bar, you and your guests will enjoy every moment of your stay with us.

The Bellwether Hotel allows dogs only with the following restrictions: Dogs are only allowed in first floor rooms. We allow up to two dogs to stay as long as their combined weight is not over 50 pounds, or one dog not over 50 pounds. A $35 pet fee will be required at time of booking. Please notify us at time of booking if a dog will be staying. We provide some dog supplies prior to check-in. Supplies provided upon request and are subject to availability. Dogs are not allowed in the lounge area of the second floor, service dogs exempt from this rule. If you are bringing a Service Dog please notify us at the time of booking. Emotional support animals are not permitted. Dogs not allowed on furniture in the room. Pets must not be left unattended in room, or anywhere else on hotel property unless crated. Owners are financially responsible for any damage deemed by staff to have been caused by a pet. Dogs must be picked up after inside and outside of hotel by guests. Guests will be charged an additional cleaning fee for any extra cleaning incurred by guest not picking up after pet. Ample green space is located in our neighborhood for walking and pet relief. Guests will be charged a $200 cleaning fee if evidence of any type of pet is found in a second floor room, Highland Station, or The Bellwether House. Service Dogs are allowed. Your service dog must be under your control at all times, whether this is by the means of a leash, hand gestures or voice control, your dog cannot become unruly. Service dogs are not allowed to be left unattended in guest rooms, or any other hotel space. In addition, if your service dog were to damage anything in the hotel room, you are still liable for the cost of those damages. Service Dogs must be picked up after inside and outside at hotel property.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM. The Bellwether is an invisible service and self check-in hotel and as such there is not a front desk and the hotel is not staffed 24 hours a day. Check-in instructions and individualized key codes are sent via email and text message after 3pm on the day of check-in. Key codes are active at 4pm on day of check-in and will not allow access prior to 4pm. Please check your email spam and junk folders if you cannot locate the check-in information.
